FitzWimarc School is a secondary school in Rayleigh, Essex.〔http://www.fitzwimarc.essex.sch.uk/〕 The FitzWimarc School is situated on Hockley Road, Rayleigh. The headteacher is Mr R Harris, who took over the post from Mr K Newcombe, who recently retired. In its most recent inspection, Ofsted rated all areas as outstanding. ==History== *30 August 1937 – Opened as The Rayleigh Council Senior School with 412 pupils registered. *19 November 1937 – Official Opening ceremony performed by John W.
